PEEK PEI PPSU PA Plastic Stick Rod Bar Extruder

This production line is composite of extruder, machine head, cooling sizing mould, heat-insulating plate, braking device, cutting machine, bracket, etc. 

Usually the extruder screw diameter is φ45~90mm. It is mainly based on the bar diameter to select the extruder model. Meanwhile, it is better that the extruder screw diameter is smaller than the bar diameter for easy extruding operation. For example φ45 extruder can produce bar of diameter φ30~200mm.

Different screw types are designed for different material. Progressive screw is for PE, PVC, ABS, PC, polysulfone, PPE, etc. Mutation screw for PP, PA,PU, POM, PTFCE, etc. Screw L/D=20~28, E=2.5~3.5, screw head is half round.

It is optional to place a filter plate between the machine head and the screw to improve the plasticization effect. But for glass fiber reinforced bar, the filter is no needed.

PEEK, a semicrystalline thermoplastic, is known for mechanical and chemical resistance at high temperature.  PEEK  is extremely tough and is often used in aerospace, biomedical, automotive and other demanding applications. its light weight, selflubricating properties , due to the very good processing properties, can be filled with carbon fiber, such as molybdenum disulfide to further improve the lubricity and mechanical strength. PEEK plastic broad application space comes to high-tech industries in aviation, machinery, electronics, chemical, automotive , etc., may be required for the manufacture of high mechanical parts such as gears, bearings, piston rings, support rings, seals ( letter ) , valves, wear rings.

PEEK rod, known in Chinese as polyether ether ketone rod, is made from PEEK material.

PEEK rod not only has better heat resistance than other high temperature resistant plastics, but also has high strength, high modulus, high fracture toughness and good dimensional stability.

PEEK rod has good toughness and good fatigue resistance to alternating stress, which is the most outstanding of all plastics and can be compared with alloy material.

 

The material has excellent dielectric properties until the temperature reaches 260 degrees.It can resist energy radiation.It belongs to the high temperature resistant thermoplastic, has the high glass transition temperature (143 ºC) and melting point (334 ºC), heat load variant temperature up to 316 ºC (30% glass fiber and carbon fiber reinforced brand), can be long-term use under 250 ºC, and other high temperature resistant plastics such as PI,  PTFE, PPO, compared to use nearly 50 ºC higher than that of maximum temperature;PEEK rod not only has better heat resistance than other high temperature resistant plastics, but also has high strength, high modulus, high fracture toughness and good dimensional stability.PEEK rod can maintain high strength at high temperature, it is about 200 ºC when the bending strength of 24 mpa, bending strength and compression strength under 250 ºC still have 12 ~ 13 mpa;PEEK resin has large rigidity, good dimensional stability, small linear expansion coefficient and is very close to aluminum metal materials
